Sonata Software Q4 Results Live: Sonata Software announced their Q4 results on May 7, 2024. The topline climbed by 14.53%, while the profit declined by 3% year on year. Compared to the previous quarter, revenue fell by 12.1%, but profit climbed by 339.08%.
Selling, general, and administrative expenses decreased 1.86% quarter on quarter but up 28.96% year on year.

Sonata Software, a global IT services and technology solutions firm, reported a 3% year-on-year (YoY) reduction in net profit to Rs 110.4 crore for the March 2024 quarter, compared to a net profit of Rs 113.8 crore, the company said. Revenue from operations increased 14.53% to Rs 2,191.6 crore in the fourth quarter, compared to Rs 1,913.5 crore in the same period the previous fiscal year.
The firm’s board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 4.40 per equity share (440% of the par value of Rs 1) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024. The final dividend is due subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming annual general meeting (AGM).
In addition, the firm’s board approved the merger of Encore I.T. Services Solutions Private Ltd (the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary) with the company. It granted in-principle clearance for the merger of Encore Software Services Inc, USA (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sonata Software North America Inc, USA) with Sonata Software North America Inc, USA, another wholly-owned subsidiary.
